What is Problem Bar?

The Problem Bar is a unique survival mechanic in My Winter Car. Unlike My Summer Car, the thirst meter is replaced with an alcohol addiction meter. When the Problem Bar is full, your character experiences various negative effects including fatigue and visual impairment.

How It Works

The Problem Bar increases naturally over time. To lower it, you need to consume alcoholic beverages.

When Full
  • Increased fatigue
  • Visual impairment

When Empty
  • Character is stable
  • Normal vision
  • Normal movement

How to Lower Problem Bar

The following items will decrease the Problem Bar:

Settings & Options

Disable Alcoholism

If you don't want to deal with the alcoholism mechanic, you can set "Alcoholism" to 0 in the game settings. This converts the Problem Bar to a normal thirst meter where water works.
Game Settings
  • Alcoholism = 1 (Default): Normal addiction mechanic
  • Alcoholism = 0: Converts to normal thirst meter

Practical Tips

Beer is available at PSK and Pub Nappo. Keep a stock for emergencies.

Vodka has a stronger effect but costs more. Good for emergencies.

If the Problem Bar starts affecting your gameplay experience, disable it in settings.
